Saudi-Maldives International Forum on Integrity to be held in the Maldives

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of the Maldives, in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), will host the Saudi-Maldives International Forum on Integrity on May 6–7, 2025, in the Maldives.
This high-level forum is being convened in alignment with Resolution No. 2/50-LO and Resolution No. 2/2-AQF, adopted during the Second Ministerial Meeting of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Agencies of OIC Member States, held in Doha, Qatar, on November 26–27, 2024.
Aimed at advancing integrity, transparency, and accountability in the tourism sector, the forum seeks to build an ethically governed tourism sectors across members states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It will serve as a dynamic platform for dialogue on combating corruption in tourism, identifying high-risk areas, and implementing transparent systems backed by robust oversight mechanisms.
The event will feature a high-level plenary session, with keynote remarks by Tourism industries experts and heads of anti-corruption agencies from OIC countries. It will bring together over 180 senior officials and experts from more than 40 OIC member states and international organizations to discuss the development and implementation of international standards to combat corruption in the tourism sector. In addition to the high-level plenary session, the forum will feature dynamic panel discussions, offering invaluable opportunities for in-depth exchanges on tackling corruption and improving governance in the tourism industry. The discussions will be led by global experts, providing actionable insights to help shape transparent and accountable growth within the tourism sector across the Islamic world.
This important initiative marks a collective step forward in strengthening integrity and fostering sustainable, accountable growth in the tourism industry throughout the Islamic world.
